Human aggression in dogs is a serious issue that can’t be taken lightly by dog owners. But where do you go to get help for dog aggression to humans? We’re excited to provide a new resource that is free and available to everyone.

Before I tell you about this new resource, I need to briefly explain why dog aggression to humans can’t be ignored.

“But where do you go to get help for dog aggression to humans?”

It’s a problem that affects not only the dog, but also its owners and everyone around them. While aggression can manifest in various forms, including growling, barking, snarling, or even biting, the consequences of ignoring or mishandling this issue can be detrimental to all involved. These consequences can include injury, civil liability, psychological trauma and even criminal prosecution. Dog aggression to humans has to be addressed sooner rather than later because it almost always escalates over time for a number of reasons.

Here are three specific reasons why dealing with your dog's aggression is critical:

1. Safety: The safety of everyone who comes into contact with your dog should be the top priority. A human-aggressive dog can pose a significant risk to families, friends, and especially strangers. By addressing and dealing with your dog's aggression, you are taking proactive steps to address the problem and risk.

2. Enhanced Quality of Life for Your Dog: Aggression can significantly impact your dog's quality of life because these behaviors emanate from heightened levels of stress, anxiety, and fear. By addressing your dog's aggression, you provide them with an opportunity to live a more fulfilling and harmonious life.

3. Building Trust With People: Human aggressive dogs have to learn they can trust people outside of their immediate human family. The more people your dog learns to trust, the greater the chance they may generalize this trust to more people.
